Text Box: 2007 Gibson Historic SG Special, Gloss Finish So I’ve wanted an SG like Pete’s for years. The Live at Leeds album, which is probably my favorite Who album, captures what is probably one of my top two guitar tones of all time (the other being Bon Scott-era Angus). The essence of the album is simplicity - Pete rides the volume to control overdrive and occasionally kicks in a Superfuzz for leads. I haven’t actually received the guitar yet, so I can’t comment on the sound or playability. If the neck is anything like my Historic SG Standard, it’ll be a nice full C, which is likely to make it my second favorite guitar. :) The gloss finish is an upgrade from Gibson’s VOS.
